Meet  Ciara

I am so glad you're here and you want to learn more about who I am! I am all about connection and making my clients feel like they're at home in their heart when they're experiencing me and I believe the best way to do that is through transparency and vulnerability so let's CHOP IT UP!

I was born and raised in North Carolina. Yup! I'm a small town country girl who has grown older to have a real love for the city life! Despite that desire, I currently still reside here in North Carolina and honestly, I don't ever desire to leave.

You're probably going, well if you love the city, why remain in NC? How do you get your city cravings satisfied? Aside from photography, I love traveling!

I mean, if you want to fly me out to do this photography thing, I'd be at the airport faster than you can blink!

Traveling often and residing in NC is just my thing. No matter where I go in the world, NC just feels like home.

However, when I'm not on the go, you can definitely catch me locally in Target or Starbucks. I'm unfortunately obssessed . Well, I'm with obssessed shopping period but that's another story for another day, k?

Where did this passion come from? How did this all begin?
Photography and creating generally has been a desire of mine for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory of my love interest for photography was around 10 years old. I asked my mother for a camera around Christmas one year. I really don't recall what sparked my interest or why I asked for one but I did and my mom purchased me a camera. Christmas Day that year, I remember flashing that little digital, purple, polaroid camera everywhere. I didn't put it down.

Before the era of social media, I was that girl that just loved documenting moments

or creating unique digital media that would attract the eye! Everyone would come to me in middle school to curate their MySpace pages, haha. I had the best times! Creating for me has always been a deep passion but I never really intentionally pursued it.

Through my years as a teen, my love for the photography art never dwindled. Every Saturday in my home, my brother and I had chores. We'd choose a room in the house and clean it from top to bottom.

Well, we were supposed to. I always chose the living room. Want to know why? It's where my mom stored all of her photo albums. I hated dusting (or cleaning period for that matter) but when no one was looking, I flipped through photo albums.

My favorite album stored in the house was my mom and dad's wedding album! I mean, I flipped through that album I know a gazillion times growing up and asked the same questions over and over until my mom was probably just about annoyed with me, haha. Well mom, I just want to say, it all paid off! Thank you for your patience!

I hope my story, openness, and transparency has created a safe, warm, and fuzzy space for you to feel at liberty for me to help you do the same!

Photos are powerful and they tell our stories so uniquely!

I am more than eager to meet you and brainstorm collectively with you so we can curate memories for you and your loved ones to cherish for forever! I cannot wait to work with you!
